Two Tip Tuesday #17: Review Your Parenting Notes & A Picky Eating Challenge!

Happy October! If you said, "Wake me up when September ends," then this is your wake-up call! (And just for funsies, here's the music video to go with that Green Day reference).

Today's Two Tip Tuesday is a quick one!

1.  Review Your Parenting Notes

Have you ever taken notes during a parenting class? Have you ever saved a parenting tip you saw in the social media? Archived a favorite Two Tip Tuesday? Or underlined sections in a parenting book you didn't want to forget?

Well, here's your friendly reminder to go back and review those notes, screenshots, archives, and underlines.

No really. Like really. Actually make a commitment to do that this week.

Put it in your calendar. Text your partner an invitation to go over those notes after bedtime. Set an alarm on your phone.

Stop what you're doing, pull out those notes, and put them on your virtual nightstand or wherever you'll remember to review them.

I'd love to know one thing you reviewed that made a difference for you.

And if there's a Two Tip Tuesday you want to review, you can find them all right here

2.  Join Me for "The Picky Eating Challenge"

The image promotes a 5-day "No More Picky Eating Challenge" by Katie Kimball, a kids' cooking teacher. It features cheerful children eating healthy foods alongside vibrant orange and grapefruit slices. A chalkboard in Katie's hand reads, "End power struggles," highlighting the challenge's goal of helping parents manage picky eating positively. The banner is colorful and encourages participation, with a link to kidscookrealfood.com

Do you have a picky eater?

Did you know there are different types of picky eating and that knowing which one can determine how you handle it?

I didn't!

Not until I signed up for the FREE "No More Picky Eating Challenge" hosted by Kids Eat Real Food.

I'm excited to attend, and I'm excited to be sharing it with you. If this is an issue in your home, sign up. You've got nothing to lose.

At least click on THIS LINK to check it out.

It starts tomorrow, October 2nd (2024) but everything is recorded and available through next week so definitely sign up.

❤️ Rachel

P.S. I have a dark past when it comes to picky eating. My son is a teen now - an amazing young man - but I wish I'd handled food differently when he was young. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Sign up for this challenge to set yourself on a better course while you can.  I'm going to give it a shot too. I've got nothing to lose.
